Gwinnett Breweries Unite for Environmental Fundraiser with ReBREWable Energy Beers

Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful has teamed up once again with four local breweries to mark Earth Day with a unique fundraising campaign that blends environmental awareness and craft beer culture. Running through May 21, the initiative features exclusive brews named “ReBREWable Energy,” each crafted in a distinct style ranging from IPA to pale ale and amber lager.

The participating breweries—Crooked Can Brewing Company in Snellville, Indio Brewing in Sugar Hill, Social Fox Brewing in Norcross, and Stillfire Brewing in Suwanee—will donate a portion of the proceeds from every pint sold to support Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful’s mission. The nonprofit focuses on “Connecting People and Resources for a Sustainable Gwinnett,” promoting environmental stewardship throughout the community.

Executive Director Schelly Marlatt expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “This has become one of our favorite initiatives of the year. The brewmasters at each of the participating breweries are so supportive of our organization, and the breweries take great care to help build awareness of Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful, Earth Day, and the importance of environmental stewardship.” She encouraged beer enthusiasts to visit all four locations to sample the ReBREWable Energy varieties, highlighting the dual benefit of supporting both local businesses and environmental causes.

“We only ask that everyone please drink responsibly while doing something good for both the environment and their community,” Marlatt added.

Beyond enjoying the special brews, Marlatt recommended additional ways for residents to contribute to environmental efforts. These include volunteering at upcoming events such as the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on June 13, participating in the Adopt-A-Stream or Adopt-A-Road programmes, and practising proper recycling at home, school, and work.

“We appreciate every penny raised in support of our programs,” Marlatt said. “When combined with our environmental cleanup and recycling events, these efforts are devoted to making our little corner of the world a cleaner, greener, more vibrant place to live, work, play, raise a family, and conduct business.”
