Matthew and Ryan Appointed Ambassadors for The Honeypot Children’s Charity
Social media influencers Matthew and Ryan, whose combined following exceeds 10 million, have been named official ambassadors for The Honeypot Children’s Charity. This appointment formalises a partnership that has developed over the last five years.
Residing near Honeypot House in the New Forest, Matthew and Ryan have frequently visited the charity, engaging with young carers and children aged between 5 and 12 who face challenging circumstances. Their involvement has included participating in festive events, meeting the children, and gaining insight into the charity’s Respite and Health and Wellbeing Breaks, along with its broader support services.
Their proximity to the charity has enabled them to forge strong connections with both the children and staff, establishing them as valued advocates within the local community. As ambassadors, they will leverage their extensive social media platforms to increase public awareness of Honeypot’s mission to create joyful experiences and foster brighter futures for children.
Matthew and Ryan commented: “We’re incredibly proud to become ambassadors for Honeypot. Over the past five years, we’ve seen first-hand the difference the charity makes in giving children the chance to relax, have fun and just be kids. Being local to Honeypot House has made the connection even more meaningful for us, and we’re passionate about supporting a charity that is making such a positive impact in our own community. We’re excited to continue to build on our relationship, working closely with the team and helping raise awareness of their amazing work.”
Simmi Woodwal, CEO of The Honeypot Children’s Charity, expressed enthusiasm about the new ambassadors: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Matthew and Ryan as official ambassadors for Honeypot. They have been wonderful supporters for many years, taking the time to visit us, connect with the children and truly understand the difference our work makes.
Their enthusiasm, warmth and genuine commitment have made a real impact, and we are excited to build on this relationship. Having ambassadors who are part of our local community is particularly special, and with their significant online audience, they are well placed to help us raise awareness of the support we provide to young carers and children aged 5–12 experiencing difficult circumstances, both locally and across the UK.”
The Honeypot Children’s Charity offers tailored support to young carers and children aged 5 to 12 facing difficult situations through Respite Breaks, Health and Wellbeing Breaks, and continuous wraparound assistance. These services aim to boost confidence, reduce isolation, and create positive childhood memories.
