Braemar Whisky Festival Debuts with Global Attendance and Plans for 2025 Expansion

The first-ever Braemar Whisky Festival, held over the weekend of 25 and 26 October, drew whisky enthusiasts, connoisseurs, and newcomers to the historic village of Braemar from around the world, including visitors from the UAE and the United States. Hosted across St Margaret’s Church Hall, the renowned Fife Arms Hotel, and local distilleries, the festival celebrated Scotland’s rich whisky-making heritage, offering a diverse array of tastings, masterclasses, and exclusive experiences that showcased the craft, culture, and community of whisky.

Throughout the two-day festival, attendees enjoyed unique opportunities to meet with master distillers, sample diverse expressions of Scotland’s national drink, and gain a deeper appreciation for the whisky-making process. Curated masterclasses led by industry experts, pairing sessions featuring local food and drink, and live music added a warm, communal spirit to the festivities, allowing participants to immerse themselves in Scotland’s whisky culture.
