2025 Enterprise Vision Awards Finalists Announced: Celebrating UK Women in Business

The Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS), the UK’s largest celebration of women in business, are proud to announce the 2025 Finalists. Now in their 14th year, the EVAS continue to shine a light on the innovators, trailblazers, and changemakers who are driving UK enterprise forward.

This year, 144 exceptional women have made it through to the finals, representing every corner of Great Britain and an incredibly diverse range of businesses; from care services to cyber security, artisan baking to advanced engineering, creative studios to community wellness hubs. These women aren’t just building businesses, they’re transforming industries, championing inclusivity, and raising aspirations. With real stories of grit, growth, and purpose, they are relatable role models who are inspiring more women to step forward, lead boldly, and create meaningful change.

This year’s cohort reflects the remarkable strength and scale of female entrepreneurship in the UK. 25% of entrants have achieved a turnover of £1 million or more, with 5% exceeding £10 million, far surpassing the national average of just 2%.

Coral Horn, founder of the EVAS, said “This proves what we’ve always known! There’s a huge, untapped potential in women-led businesses! These figures show that when given the opportunity and support, women scale, succeed, and lead with impact. The EVAS is proud to be bucking the trend and championing women who are doing just that.”

Across 18 award categories, the finalists will now progress to the next stage, which includes interviews with an independent judging panel, a public vote, and a vibrant #EVAS2025 social media campaign.

Whilst the competition is strong, the camaraderie, collaboration, and opportunities that arise from involvement with the EVAS make this a truly exciting time for the fabulous finalists. Year after year, many go on to form partnerships, secure funding, gain media exposure, and become mentors themselves.

Michael Dugdale, Managing Director of Trident Utilities, said “Sponsoring the Business Woman of the Year award is our way of recognising the incredible achievements of women who are not just excelling in their fields, but redefining them. At Trident, we believe that empowering women in business isn’t just the right thing to do – it’s essential to creating a more innovative, inclusive, and resilient economy.”

As part of this year’s celebrations, an exclusive EVAS Reception will be held at the House of Commons, where finalists will have the chance to connect with previous winners, business leaders, and decision-makers.

The awards will culminate in a dazzling ceremony on Friday 26 September, held in the iconic Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool. It will be a night where the spotlight truly shines on women who lead with vision and purpose. One of these finalists will also receive the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award, recognising extraordinary business accomplishments, leadership, and contribution to the wider business community.
