DDB Worldwide, a leading advertising and marketing network, has announced the merger of its DDB New York office with adam&eveNYC to create a dynamic new offering in North America. The merged entity will be known as adam&eveDDB, representing a new era for DDB’s presence in New York City.

The two agencies will consolidate their operations and move into a new office space, operating under the leadership of recently appointed CEO Caroline Winterton. Winterton joins adam&eveDDB from Digitas New York, where she served as President of the Atlanta and New York offices. With a wealth of experience in leading teams and managing accounts for renowned brands such as Procter & Gamble, Kraft, and McDonald’s, Winterton brings a strong strategic and creative background to her new role.

Expressing her enthusiasm for leading the agency, Winterton said, “I have always been a massive fan of DDB’s and adam&eveDDB’s world-class creativity. It is an honor and an absolute thrill to lead this incredible new agency with the talented teams coming together under one roof. We have huge creative ambitions, and I can’t wait to turn those ambitions into reality.”

Rick Brim, Chief Creative Officer of adam&eveDDB, shared his excitement about the merger, emphasizing Winterton’s positive energy, strategic acumen, and dedication to creativity. He stated, “adam&eveNYC has experienced tremendous growth since its launch in 2017, and we understand the responsibility of being part of the next chapter for ‘Bill’s Agency.’ Caroline is the perfect addition to our team, and with her onboard, I am excited to see where we can take this agency.”

adam&eveDDB has a strong track record of working with creatively driven clients and has received prestigious awards for its work, including Cannes Agency of the Year and Ad Age’s International Agency of the Year. In the United States, the agency has collaborated with notable brands such as Samsung, PepsiCo, Netflix, Facebook, and JetBlue. The merger aims to enhance the agency’s capabilities and creative offerings, positioning adam&eveDDB as a world-class agency that combines the agility of a startup with the resources of a global network.

The newly formed adam&eveDDB will offer a full range of creative services, including brand and communications strategy, integrated production, design, customer experience (CX), and experiential marketing. The agency will also house an advanced internal production company and a fully staffed production team. In addition to Winterton’s appointment as CEO, the agency is currently seeking a Chief Creative Officer based in New York to work alongside her and James Rowe, the current Managing Director of adam&eveDDB, who will report to Winterton and oversee agency operations until her arrival in early fall.

To mark this new chapter, adam&eveDDB will relocate to a new office space in the West Village.
