CCA Global Partners Retail Group Advances Strategy at Spring Advisory Council Meetings

CCA Global Partners’ Retail Group recently gathered leaders and members from its Carpet One Floor & Home, Flooring America, and Flooring Canada divisions for its Spring Advisory Council Meetings in St. Louis. The sessions focused on strategic alignment, sharing insights, and planning for future growth across the organisation’s retail brands.

The meetings emphasised supporting independent retailers with enhanced technology, streamlined operations, and new growth avenues through diversification. A key objective was to equip members with tools to compete effectively in a dynamic market.

Looking ahead, CCA leadership outlined priorities for the upcoming Summer Regional Meetings and the January conneXtion convention. Central to their strategy is delivering a seamless, customer-first experience that integrates in-store and digital interactions.

Artificial intelligence featured prominently in discussions, with the Retail Group highlighting its increasing integration across the co-op. AI-driven solutions are being implemented to boost customer engagement, optimise marketing efforts, and improve operational efficiency. These advancements aim to help members increase conversion rates, simplify processes, and offer personalised experiences.

Updates on marketing and merchandising initiatives were also presented. Enhancements to digital marketing platforms, in-store technologies, and data analytics tools are designed to improve execution and provide clearer insights into performance and return on investment. The group is evolving its merchandising strategy to combine physical and digital elements, aligning with modern consumer expectations and supporting higher-value project sales.

One of the standout developments is the planned pilot of Retail 3D, a cutting-edge merchandising and visualisation platform. Retail 3D integrates digital displays, visualisation tools, and curated product storytelling to transform how customers shop for flooring and home improvement projects, creating a more immersive and intuitive showroom environment.

Members also explored opportunities for growth beyond flooring, particularly in adjacent categories such as kitchen and bath. This diversification strategy aims to help retailers capture a larger share of the home improvement market by leveraging existing customer relationships and expertise.

Education and member success remain a priority, with CCA Global Retail Group reaffirming its commitment to ongoing training through the award-winning CCA University platform. New learning resources, including AI-supported coaching and training, are being introduced to enhance retailer performance throughout the customer journey.

The Spring Advisory Council Meetings highlighted the strength of CCA Global Retail Group’s cooperative model, fostering collaboration among members to refine strategy and set future priorities.

Keith Spano, President of CCA Retail Group, stated: “Our members’ needs engagement, and feedback drive the evolution of our program. These meetings are critical to ensuring we stay focused on what matters most, helping our members grow profitability, differentiate their businesses, and ultimately take market share in an increasingly competitive marketplace.”

With a clear focus on innovation, technology, and member support, CCA Global Retail Group is positioning its members for sustained growth and leadership in the evolving home improvement sector.
