After an impressive showcase at Pitti Uomo 2024 in the historic Fortezza de Basso, U.S. Polo Assn., the official brand of the United States Polo Association (USPA), treated guests to an extraordinary VIP party called “Live Authentically.” The invitation-only event, held at the enchanting Giardino Torrigiani, brought together fashion, art, sport, and music in an evening to remember.

The festivities commenced with a prosecco reception in the garden, where models adorned in custom U.S. Polo Assn. attire welcomed over 350 guests to a candlelit dinner. Giardino Torrigiani, known as the birthplace of Florence’s first-ever fashion show, served as the perfect venue for U.S. Polo Assn.’s Pitti VIP party.

As the dinner concluded, attendees were delighted by the presence of renowned Florentine artist and sculptor Antonio Signorini, who presented artwork to each guest. The mesmerizing performance of “horse whisperer” Santi Sierra with his dancing horses left everyone in awe. The evening culminated with a thrilling performance by Planet Funk, one of Europe’s most popular rock bands currently on their highly anticipated reunion tour. Among the special guests were esteemed figures such as actress and model Federica Nargi, Salvatore Ferragamo of Il Borro, Italy Polo Team Captain Stefano Giansanti, and FISE Polo’s Alessandro Giachetti, alongside many others.

The event was sponsored by the prestigious Il Borro wine, in partnership with Champagne Partner Taittinger and Sammontana Gelati. Notably, specialty Porsches adorned with the red, white, and blue U.S. Polo Assn. logo were on display, symbolizing the brand’s connection to “horsepower” and generously sponsored by Centro Porsche Firenze.

Lorenzo Nencini, Incom CEO and U.S. Polo Assn.’s Italian apparel partner, and J. Michael Prince, President and CEO of USPA Global Licensing, served as hosts for the evening. Prince expressed his satisfaction with the event, stating, “The U.S. Polo Assn. Pitti VIP event provided a unique opportunity to share our brand message of ‘Live Authentically’ and inspire our esteemed guests. It was an unforgettable night that will be cherished by all who attended.”

Nencini, who also serves on the 2023 Pitti Immagine’s Board of Directors, reflected on the success of the evening, saying, “Our vision for this extraordinary night in the beautiful Giardino Torrigiani was to express our brand through the fusion of fashion, art, sports, and music. We achieved this with tremendous success.”

The VIP event followed U.S. Polo Assn.’s exceptional presentation of its vibrant Spring-Summer 2024 Collection at Pitti Immagine Uomo, where the brand showcased its rich heritage in polo since 1890. The immersive experience captivated audiences, attracting attention not only for its authentic style but also for the special appearance of entrepreneur, TV presenter, Instagram influencer, and sports enthusiast Federica Nargi. The showroom floor featured sporty models dressed as polo players, further emphasizing U.S. Polo Assn.’s connection to the world of sport.
