Meet the Team Behind Heart & Soil
Natalie Forstbauer – Founder & Editor-In-Chief
Born and raised on an award-winning organic and biodynamic farm in British Columbia, Natalie brings decades of hands-on experience in regenerative agriculture. From selling farm-fresh produce at farmers’ markets to supplying major retailers like Whole Foods, she understands the business and soul of farming. After healing from a brain injury through farming, she deepened her commitment to sustainable agriculture and now runs a small organic farm in Saskatchewan.
“Farming isn’t just about growing food—it’s about nurturing the soil, the ecosystem, and the community. Earth Day reminds us that every action we take impacts the land we depend on.” – Natalie Forstbauer
