SGS Certifies DOBOT’s CR 30H Series for Cybersecurity Compliance Under ISO 10218-1:2025
SGS has confirmed that DOBOT’s CR 30H Series collaborative robots meet the cybersecurity safety requirements outlined in the latest ISO 10218-1:2025 standard for industrial robots.
The certification verifies that DOBOT’s CR 30H Series adheres to international secure-by-design principles, enhancing its suitability for advanced industrial manufacturing and facilitating access to global markets.
In February 2026, SGS awarded DOBOT a Verification of Conformity (VoC), affirming full compliance with all cybersecurity aspects of ISO 10218-1:2025. This achievement represents a key advancement for SGS, marking its first cybersecurity assessment and testing aligned with the updated ISO 10218-1:2025 standard. It also reinforces SGS’s position as a leader in evaluating both functional safety and cybersecurity for robotic technologies.
The comprehensive evaluation took place at SGS’s specialised cybersecurity laboratory in Guangzhou, China. The assessment encompassed a wide range of cybersecurity criteria, including threat modelling and risk assessment, access control and identity authentication, secure communication protocols, configuration protection, port and interface management, and secure software update processes.
Throughout the verification process, SGS’s cybersecurity team collaborated closely with DOBOT to identify vulnerabilities, optimise product design, and facilitate a streamlined certification pathway.

DOBOT’s CR Series collaborative robots are engineered for safe, flexible, and efficient human-robot collaboration across diverse industries such as automotive, consumer electronics, semiconductors, healthcare, chemicals, and retail.
Key specifications of the CR Series include payload capacities ranging from 3 kg to 16 kg, high repeatability of ±0.02 mm, 22 integrated safety features, certifications to ISO 13849 and ISO/TS 15066, five adjustable collision detection levels, and optional SafeSkin technology that provides proximity sensing within 15 cm.
These features enable manufacturers to enhance productivity and operational flexibility while reducing labour costs.
