TOYCOLLECTR Issue 24 Launches Featuring Factory Entertainment’s The Mummy Collectibles and NECA’s Muppets Figures

TOYCOLLECTR Issue 24 has been released and is now accessible at comic shops, bookstores, newsstands, and specialty retailers. The latest edition offers an exclusive look into the collectible action figure industry and pop culture memorabilia.

A key highlight of this issue is a comprehensive feature on Factory Entertainment’s forthcoming sixth-scale action figures inspired by the 1999 adventure film The Mummy. Mike Drake, a toy industry expert and pop-culture advocate, authored the article, detailing the creation of the collectible series and the lasting popularity of the film’s iconic hero.

The feature coincides with Factory Entertainment’s opening of pre-orders for the Rick O’Connell sixth-scale collector figure, modelled after Brendan Fraser’s portrayal of the adventurous treasure hunter from Universal Pictures’ blockbuster.

Drake’s insight is enriched by his unique background. Beyond his toy industry work, he is recognised for an eleven-year global treasure hunt art project involving miniature sarcophagi hidden on beaches worldwide. This project has attracted international media coverage and has recently been acquired by Ripley’s Believe It or Not!.

Issue 24 also debuts NECA’s upcoming The Muppets Christmas Carol action figures, featuring Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim portrayed by Kermit the Frog and Robin.
