DynaScan to Unveil New Sustainable Digital Displays Using E Ink Technology at 2024 Barcelona Trade Show

DynaScan Technology, an industry leader in innovative display solutions, is set to unveil a new line of cutting-edge, sustainable digital-out-of-home (DOOH) products utilizing E Ink display technology at the upcoming ISE 2024 trade show in Barcelona from January 30 to February 2.

The company will showcase several E Ink-based displays, including the largest color E Ink Kaleido 3 screen to date at 42 inches, along with smaller 13.3, 25.3 and 42-inch monochrome versions. The products mark the initial phase in the launch of an entirely new product line for DynaScan.

E Ink screens are designed to mimic the appearance of paper while using less power than traditional LCD and LED displays. The Kaleido 3 technology provides crisp color images and video with a paper-like look. E Ink displays are uniquely suited for outdoor use because of their high contrast and sunlight readability, as well as an operating temperature range of -15 to 65 degrees Celsius.

“This collaboration marks a significant step in our commitment to delivering cutting-edge display solutions that offer excellent sunlight readability and low power consumption,” said Alan Kaufman, President of DynaScan Technology. “Together with E Ink, we look forward to creating displays that not only meet but exceed the expectations of our customers.”

DynaScan, known for its high-brightness displays built to withstand challenging environments like storefront windows, plans to utilize E Ink’s color and monochrome technologies to introduce a new line of sustainable DOOH products. The company intends to follow up the 2024 launch with additional larger sized E Ink displays in the future.

Founded over 25 years ago, DynaScan manufacturers its displays in-house at its Taiwan headquarters. The company has been at the forefront of developing professional-grade, sunlight-readable displays and kiosks ranging from 32 to 86 inches for indoor, outdoor and window-facing applications.

DynaScan’s expansive product line offers advanced remote management capabilities and energy efficiency. The company works closely with system integrators and channel partners globally, with offices in Asia, Europe and North America to support international rollouts.

Company representatives will be demonstrating the new E Ink display line and showcasing DynaScan’s breadth of solutions at ISE 2024 in Barcelona at Booth 3D700. Pricing and availability details are expected to be announced in early 2024.
