Sales Geek Named Finalist for International Business of the Year at British Business Awards 2026

Sales Geek has secured a place on the shortlist for International Business of the Year at the British Business Awards 2026, highlighting its swift global expansion and influential sales leadership model. The announcement, made official this week and covered by The Times and The Sunday Times, places Sales Geek among 149 distinguished UK companies, including well-known brands, high-growth scale-ups, and innovative SMEs. The winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony in Edinburgh on 30 April 2026, which will feature a special appearance by actor George Clooney.

The company’s nomination in the International Business category follows a formal recommendation to the judging panel, acknowledging both the breadth of its international growth and the significant impact of its sales leadership approach across global markets. Those shortlisted will also be included in the inaugural British Business Leaders List, a new accolade recognising organisations setting the standard for modern enterprise and contributing to the UK’s economic future.

Originating in the UK, Sales Geek has expanded into a worldwide network comprising 54 franchisees operating in 66 territories, supported by a central headquarters team of 16 employees. The firm specialises in providing fractional sales leadership to small and medium-sized enterprises, granting access to seasoned Sales Directors and structured frameworks typically available only to larger corporations. This model allows businesses to develop high-performing sales teams while retaining flexibility and cost control.

Collectively, Sales Geek’s network boasts over 1,600 years of sales experience, underscoring the extensive expertise within its international community. Through its part-time Sales Director model, franchisees currently support 160 active client businesses and have influenced more than 32,000 sales professionals. In their roles within client organisations, Sales Geek franchisees oversee sales operations generating over $60 billion in revenue, demonstrating their substantial contribution across diverse markets.

Richard Few, Founder of Sales Geek, said: “To be shortlisted for International Business of the Year is a huge moment for everyone connected to Sales Geek. What makes this particularly special is that it reflects not just our growth, but the real impact we’re having with businesses all over the world. We set out to change the way the world perceives sales, and to make high-quality sales leadership accessible to businesses everywhere. This recognition is a testament to our franchisees, our clients, and the strength of the global community we’ve built.”

The global reach of Sales Geek is further illustrated by the experiences of its franchisees. Brian Ewing, Chief Geek South-West USA, remarked: “What makes Sales Geek different is that it isn’t just a model, it’s a global standard. Being part of a network recognised at this level shows the power of combining local expertise with world-class support.” Niranjan Singh, CEO Malaysia, added: “Launching Sales Geek in Malaysia has shown us how universal the challenges around sales really are. To see the business recognised internationally reinforces that we’re part of something genuinely transformative.” Khulangoo Bayarbaatar, CEO Sales Geek Mongolia, commented: “Bringing Sales Geek to Mongolia has been about more than business, it’s about changing how people think about growth. This recognition highlights the global relevance of what we’re building.”

This year’s British Business Awards attracted a record 400-plus entries, with shortlisted companies assessed independently across five key areas: business performance, innovation, workforce and culture, customer impact, and contribution to society and the wider economy. The highest-scoring organisations advanced to the final stage, where an independent panel of senior British business leaders will select the winners.

Alan Jope CBE, Chair of the judging panel, stated: “The calibre of companies on the shortlist is extraordinary, and our job as judges is simply to maintain the highest standards and ensure that truly outstanding businesses emerge as the winners. This year’s cohort represent companies that are truly shaping Britain’s economic future.”

With plans for further international growth, Sales Geek continues to focus on enabling businesses to unlock expansion through strategic sales leadership, while developing a global network that is redefining how sales is understood, executed, and valued.
