Viking Bags Launches Odyssey 80L Luggage System Compatible With Ten ADV Motorcycle Brands

Viking Bags has introduced the Odyssey 80L Adventure Touring Luggage System, designed to fit adventure motorcycles from ten leading manufacturers without requiring a luggage rack. Compatible with Harley-Davidson, BMW, Honda, Yamaha, Triumph, KTM, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Ducati ADV models, the strap-mount kit offers a versatile storage solution for long-distance riders.

The complete system provides 80 litres of carrying capacity, roughly equivalent to 112 cans, distributed across multiple components tailored to meet the demands of extended journeys. Included in the package are an Odyssey harness, two 25-litre roll-top dry bags, a 22-litre tail pack, a tent pole dry bag, and a heat shield. All dry bags are fully waterproof, ensuring protection against harsh weather conditions.

Constructed from ballistic nylon and TPU fabric, the outer shell prioritises durability for challenging trail environments. The top flap features MOLLE panels, enabling riders to attach small pouches or tools, while a removable clear map pocket sits beneath. Additionally, two small zippered compartments on the bottom flap provide convenient access to hygiene essentials.

The harness design allows the legs to be adjusted to various angles, ensuring a snug fit on both slim enduro motorcycles and larger adventure bikes. Installation relies on secure straps without the need for specialised tools or extra hardware, simplifying preparation for lengthy trips.

A notable element of the system is the 22-litre tail pack, which mounts centrally on the harness but can be detached independently. Off the bike, it functions as either a carry-on bag or a backpack, with straps that fold away when rolled up into a duffel shape. This adaptability benefits riders who combine riding with walking or other forms of travel.

The included tent pole dry bag can be clipped to the main harness or other bags using webbing, a feature that will appeal to long-distance campers.
